This exquisite Italian mirror is a true antique gem. Crafted in the mid-19th century, it features a stunning giltwood frame with a mirrored finish that adds an elegant touch to any room.

The mirror is to be hung " Portrait " as shown as there is a very ornate frame to the top and a fabulous serpent to the lower frame ends at bottom corners.
The mercury mirror plate has a lovely foxed finish to it, but none of it is dark or black foxing. You can see the foxing in the photographs and in my opinion, it looks great and enhances the mirror.
There is a secure hanging chain fitted, so it will just require a secure screw fitting on your wall, or you may prefer to hang it with a pair of mirror plates.
