This exquisite statue is a true work of art. Crafted from genuine marble, it features intricate carvings of Ariadne ( Wife of God of Wine Dyonisis) on panther who are depicted in a stunning Greek style. The statue is Large in the Parian Ware group , making it a perfect addition to any collection or display after the marble sculpture by Johann Heinrich Dannecker which was one of the most renowned works of sculpture of the 19th Century. The antique finish and intricate details make this statue a unique and rare find. It is perfect for collectors of all occasions and is sure to add a touch of history and elegance to any room. This Grand Tour statue is a must-have for lovers of art and history. One old repair to the rear please see pictures.
